Message From the President
Welcome to the NEW Saskatchewan Amateur Bodybuilding Association web site. It has been a while in the making, but it is finally here, we now control all the content on the site and are truly responsible for how long it takes to get posted. Unfortunately with the old site we were relying on others to get the job done for us and they didn't always value the need for information as much as we did, so that is the biggest reason for the change. I am proud to present this site to the athletes of Saskatchewan and hope to do you proud. Enjoy and train hard!

2010 Provincial Championships DVDs are now available
Chameleon Productions has just released the DVD for the 2010 Provincial Championships. DVDs can be purchased online at chameleonproduction.ca. Sasktel will also be showing the event on Max on Demand in the near future, watch for it.

Congratulations to Jennifer and Amiee Roberge
SABBA's own figure and fitness twins, Amiee and Jennifer Roberge were picked and just completed filming last week for their episode of Mantracker.
Amiee and Jennifer take off into the bush with a map, a compass and a head start. The tracker is on horseback, armed with a local guide and an arsenal of forensic skills. The prey have 36 hours to reach a finish line some 40 kilometers away without getting caught. How they escape is up to them.
We'll keep you posted on an expected air time.

New Bikini Class For 2011 Novice, Provincial Championships and Fall Spectacular
For all contests with two (2) classes:
- Up to and including 5’4”
- Over 5’4”
- National level contests do not permit competitors to crossover into Bodybuilding, Fitness or Figure at the same event.
- Competitors will compete in a two-piece suit. The bottom of the suit must be v-shaped. No thongs are permitted. Competitors can compete in an off the rack suit. All swimsuits must be in good taste.
- Competitors must wear high heels.
- Competitors may wear jewelry.
Presentation
- Competitors will walk onstage alone and perform their Model Walk (personal preference)
- The Model Walk consists of the following: Walk to the center of the stage, stop and do a front stance then a full turn and do a rear stance then turn to the front again in front of the judges and then proceed to the side of the stage.
Comparison Round, Two-Piece Swimsuit
- Competitors will be judged wearing a two-piece swimsuit and heels.
- The competitors will be brought out in a group and directed to do a full front and rear stance.
- Judges will have the opportunity to compare competitors against each other in half turns. (No side judging permitted, front and back only.)
- Judges will be scoring competitors on the following items:
- Balance and Shape
- Overall physical appearance including complexion, skin tone, poise and overall presentation.
